Swim in the spa day 3
We took Ethan down to the spa (Temp: 37 C) on a hot Sunday afternoon (Mothers Day). Bad timing, as there were a lot of people there using the spa, which scares Ethan. He cried initially when the spa was turned on. When the spa was off, we were able to gradually ease him into the pool. We gave him his favorite block and cup and there he goes and chew away. Wondering if he is actively swimming or actively chewing??

Enjoying tummy time
Arthur Chang was so kind to hand us down a tummy roller designed specifically to ease babies into spending more time on their tummy. Ethan still dislikes being on his tummy. When we place him on the roller, he actually tolerates being on his tummy and gave us the sweetest smile. Now that he can roll back onto his back, he would do so the second we remove the roller. And gives us naughty smile, “Ah ha… you cannot force me on my tummy anymore”. We have been encouraging him to roll over on his tummy, but he remains on his back position.

Labor Day trip
We joined the community’s labor day trip to several sight seeing places such as JiaoBan San, CheHu and to the Shimen Reservoir. We drove out on our on while following the 2 tour bus. As with any organized tour, they tried to visit so many places but leaves no time to really enjoy a single site. Nevertheless, it was a very pleasant day to be out with Ethan.
